Hastings resident, Hilda Josephine Sager, 92, of 1116 Sycamore, the Homestead, died Thursday, August 23, 2001 at Mary Lanning Hospital. Services will be Monday, August 27, 2001; 10:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Carl W. Utley officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bloomington, Nebraska. Hilda Josephine Sager was born September 21, 1908 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska to Oren John & Emma Hilda Elvera (Hansen) Carlson. She moved from Bloomington, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska in 1940. She married Byron Gifford Sager in the Methodist Church in Bloomington, Nebraska on November 7, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was a practical nurse for 40 years in several health care facilities, the latest being Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska. She retired in 1985. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Women's Circle 4, serving on the visitation committee. Hilda Josephine Sager was preceded in death by her parents, husband, B.
