Hastings resident, Ernest Raymond Barton, 82, of 1203 E. Park #9, died
Monday, December 3, 2001 at Veteran Administration Medical Center, Grand
Island, Nebraska. Services will be Friday, December 7, 2001; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. George Wheat officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Ernest Raymond Barton was born June 9, 1919 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to James & Minnie (Ryan) Barton. He served in the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver and lived in Hastings, Nebraska for the past 16 ½ years. He was a past member of the American Legion Club. Ernest Raymond Barton was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and a sister. Survivors include, Sons: Ernest Ray Barton - Adairsville, GA Billy Joe Barton - Chandler, AZ Daughters: Shirley Caldwell - Chandler, AZ Patricia Plattenberger - Chandler, AZ Debbie Carnahan - Flagstaff, AZ Special Friend & children: Sharon Keever - Hastings, NE Tamara Garner - Marietta, GA Billy Joe Keever - Phoenix, AZ 13 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren Sister: Janie Sue Carl - Shingleton, CA Brother: Arthur Hunt - Peoria, AZ Memorial maybe given to the family Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
