Martha C. Bennett, 95, of Sunnyside, 1401 N. Hastings, died Thursday, February 8, 2001 at Sunnyside.

Memorial service were Monday, February 12, 2001; 2:00 P.M. Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Kothe officiating. Private family interment at a later date at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Holstein, Nebraska. No viewing. Mrs. Bennett was cremated.

Martha C. Bennett was born September 6, 1905 in Holstein, Nebraska to Peter & Mary (Dettner) Hansen. She married Wilfred Bennett in Red Cloud, Nebraska on July 17, 1925 and he preceded her in death in 1974. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was an area resident her entire life.

Martha C. Bennett was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Wilfred, 2 sons; Wilfred Dean & Donald Eugene, brother; Herman, an infant sister and a grandson; Robert Russell.
