Joy Dona Doyen, 72, of 504 S. Kansas, died Friday, November 9, 2001 at
Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Services will be Tuesday, November 13, 2001; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Joy Dona Doyen was born July 6, 1929 in Antigo, Wisconsin to Joseph & Marion (Morse) Obester. She moved from Wisconsin to Hastings, Nebraska and graduated from Hastings High School in 1947. On July 16, 1947, she married Lorance Doyen, Hastings, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God Church. Joy Dona Doyen was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and a grandchild. Survivors include, Husband: Lorance Doyen - Hastings, NE Sons: James Doyen - Hastings, NE Rod Doyen - Hastings, NE Daughters: Cheryl Colman - Geneva, NE Vicki Doyen - Modesto, CA Cindy Jones - Kathy Norris - Hastings, NE 12 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren Brother: Darrel Obester - Hastings, NE Memorial maybe given to the family Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
