Mathilda Pfeifer, 96, of Hastings, Nebraska, died Friday, November 16,
2001 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Services will be Monday, November 19, 2001; 10:30 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, southwest of Hastings, Nebraska with ministers Les & Bonnie Larsen officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery, southwest of Hastings, Nebraska. Mathilda Pfeifer was born March 18, 1905 in Mendota, Illinois to Conrad & Annie (Kothe) Pfeifer. She moved to Adams County, Nebraska with her family in 1906. She attended school at District #35 southwest of Hastings. She worked for Kipp Cigar Factory, Hoff Brothers Cleaners, K & R Meat Packing and Brach-Thompson, now known as Schweser’s. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, southwest of Hastings. Mathilda Pfeifer was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, Oscar Pfeifer and sisters, Edna Koch, Flora Pfeifer, Mabel Uhrmacher and 2 infants sisters. Survivors include, Her sister, Helen Pfeifer of Hastings, NE. A brother, Arno Pfeifer of Hastings, NE and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews Memorial maybe given to Immanuel Lutheran Church Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
