Hastings resident, Jennifer A. Powell, 17, of 107 E. 5th Street, Apt #1,
died Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Funeral service and Rosary will be Friday, October 12, 2001; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with funeral services to follow, with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date. Jennifer A. Powell was born June 15, 1984 in Tacoma, Washington to Duane L. & Diane D. (Richter) Powell. She lived in Hastings, Nebraska for the past 2 years, moving from Waverly, Nebraska. She was a senior at Hastings Senior High School. Jennifer A. Powell was preceded in death by her mother, Diane.
