Goldae Alvina Whiting

Goldae Alvina Whiting, 88, of 1307 W. 6th, died Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at Mary Lanning Hospital.

Services will be Saturday, September 8, 2001; 10:00 A.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Hirsch officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Goldae Alvina Whiting was born November 22, 1912 in Roseland, Nebraska to Peter & Lena (Reis) Klein. She married George Whiting on August 25, 1938 in Roseland, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on August 4, 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and charter member of Tabitha Society. She was a past member of the Golden Rod Extension Club and county chairman for the extension clubs.

Goldae Alvina Whiting was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George, sister, Helen Rothfuss and brother Glenn Klein.
