Ivan E. Hohnstein, 81, of 1005 Hewett, died Thursday, April 4, 2002 at
his home. Services will be Monday, April 8, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Matt Nieman & Dr. Carl W. Utley officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Ivan E. Hohnstein was born December 5, 1920 in Harvard, Nebraska to George L. & Viola (Carriker) Hohnstein. He graduated from Harvard High School and served in the United States Army during WWII from September 2, 1942 to October 12, 1945. On March 13, 1946, he married Druella Rose. He was a salesman for Gambles and Tempo. He was a life long area resident and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Ivan E. Hohnstein was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Terry. Survivors include, Wife: Druella Hohnstein - Hastings, NE Daughter: Connie Mullen - Westminster, CO Son: Jim Hohnstein - Broomfield, CO Grandchildren: 3 Timm Mullen Todd Mullen Jamie Hohnstein Sister: Dorothy Daum - Magalia, CA Numerous Nieces & Nephews Memorial may be given to First Presbyterian Church
