Willard Charles Anderson, 95, of Perkins Pavilion died Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Friday, January 25, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Dr. Sam Rathod officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Willard C. Anderson was born February 21, 1906 in Oakland, Nebraska to Charles & Nellie (Nelson) Anderson. He graduated from Oakland High School and from Grand Island College, Grand Island, Nebraska. On May 19, 1930, he married Dorothy Shouse in Grand Island, Nebraska. He did graduate work at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Hastings, and Kearney State College. They moved from Brock, Nebraska to Hastings in 1942. He taught math at Hastings High School, retiring in 1971. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Hastings Area Retired Teachers Association.

Willard C. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother and 1 son-in-law.

Memorial may be given to First United Methodist Church
