Leonard D. Dudek, 81, of Haven Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska, died Friday, May
10, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Nebraska. Services will be Tuesday, May 14, 2002; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Matt Nieman officiating. Burial will Wednesday, May 15, 2002; 1:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Omaha, Nebraska. Leonard D. Dudek was born February 11, 1921 in Campbell, Nebraska to Otto V. & Marie B. (Rehn) Dudek. He attended the Presbyterian Church in Campbell, Nebraska as a youth. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1941. On July 15, 1943, he married Ruth Randa and they later divorced. He was a psych tech at the Hastings Regional Center and also in Douglas County. He also was a welder at Western Land Roller in Hastings. He lived in Omaha, Nebraska from 1961-1998 when he returned to Hastings and resided at the Kensington for 6 months. He then moved to Haven Home in Kenesaw, Nebraska. He was a member of Mason Lodge #50 in Hastings, Nebraska. Leonard D. Dudek was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold and Norman. Survivors include, Sister: Mrs. Walter R. ‘Kathryn’ Lutman - Mesa, AZ Sister-in-law: Pauline Dudek - Hastings, NE Cousins: Mrs. Elsie Nyce - Hastings, NE Mrs. Marjorie Coats - Hastings, NE Numerous nieces & nephews Memorial may be given to American Heart Association |
