Memorial services will be Friday, October 18, 2002; 10:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Chapel with Dr. Carl W. Utley officiating. Private family interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska.

Carl F. Schmale was born January 8, 1909 in Cortland, Nebraska to Charles & Anna (Goebel) Schmale. He married Georgia Hutchins in Red Cloud, Nebraska on August 15, 1939 and she preceded him in death on August 22, 2002. He was a farmer and owned Carl’s Produce at Campbell, Nebraska. He moved from Campbell, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska in 1968. He was employed at Montgomery Ward’s and was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge # 50 A.F. & A.M. both of Hastings, Nebraska.

Carl F. Schmale was preceded in death by his parents, wife Georgia, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
