Naomi Junker, 69, of 5945 W. Lochland Rd., Juniata, Nebraska, died
Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Services will be Saturday, December 20, 2003; 10:30 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, with Rev. Greg Volzke officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, both in rural Juniata, Nebraska. Naomi Junker was born March 22, 1934 in Red Cloud, Nebraska to Fred & Laura (Lemmerman) Rippen. She moved with her family to Hastings, Nebraska in 1943 and to Greeley, Colorado, where she graduated from High School. She then moved to Denver, Colorado and back to Hastings, Nebraska. On June 12, 1955, she married Robert J. Junker at Christ Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary in Juniata and the V.F.W Auxiliary in Hastings. Naomi Junker was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Melva McCartney and one brother, Kenneth Rippen. Survivors include, Husband: Bob Junker - Juniata, NE Daughters: Janiece Junker - Juniata, NE Cathy Shuck - Juniata, NE Sons & Daughters-in-law: Kevin & Chris Junker - Hastings, NE Kenny & Lori Junker - Bladen, NE Grandchildren: 8 Stephanie McKimmey David Shuck Aaron Shuck Devin Jester Kelley Junker Courtney Junker Ericka Junker Jarod Junker Sisters & Brother-in-law: Hazel Jenkins - Grand Island, NE Phyllis DeFranchi - San Francisco, CA Julia & Rein Schutte - Hastings, NE Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Delton & Colleen Rippen - Hastings, NE Robert & Julie Rippen - Tucson, AZ Memorial may be given to Naomi Junker Memorial Fund or To the family
