Hastings resident, Louis M. Conover, Sr. 68, of 808 So. St. Joseph, died
Sunday, February 9, 2003 at his home. Services will be Friday, February 14, 2003; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Louis M. Conover, Sr. was born September 15, 1934 in Loveland, Colorado, to Howard & Adeline (Walters) Conover. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from May 2, 1952 to May 6, 1955. He also served in the Army National Guard and Army Reserve. On December 16, 1955, he married T. Colleen Karash in Hastings, Nebraska. He was a truck driver for United States Postal Service. Louis M. Conover, Sr., was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister & a grandson, Roger Allen Conover. Survivors include, Daughters & Sons-in-law: Cindy & Bob Malesker - Hastings, NE Theresa & Steve Reid - Superior, NE Cheryl & Marlin Knickerbocker - Lincoln, NE Sons & Daughter-in-law: Louis Conover, Jr. - Hastings, NE Kenneth & Tammy Conover - Hastings, NE 18 Grandchildren 24 Great Grandchildren Memorial may be given to The Family Book Signing:
