Fairfield resident, Connie S. Norden, 51, of 406 ‘B’ Street, died
Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, due to
cancer. Services will be Friday, January 10. 2003; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Earl Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Connie S. Norden was born September 6, 1951 in Hebron, Nebraska to Leo & Evelyn (Holtzen) Grueber. She graduated from Nelson High School, Nelson, Nebraska in 1969. She married Jim Miller in 1969 and in 1993 they divorced. She worked at the Hastings Regional Center for many years and was the Activities Coordinator. On October 4, 1997, she married Bill Norden. She was a lifetime area resident. Connie S. Norden was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Grueber.
