James E. Stramel, 60, of #114 Autumn Park, 411 S. Elm, died Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 22, 2003; 2:00 P.M. at WaKeeney Cemetery, WaKeeney, Kansas with the Pastor Randy Gibbs officiating.

James E. Stramel was born July 6, 1943 in Seldon, Kansas to Rudy and Tillie (Wessel) Stramel. He moved to Hastings in 1965. On August 28, 1967, he married Barbara Latzel in Garden City, KS., and they later divorced. He worked at Western Land Roller, Werner Construction and Phillips Industries, all in Hastings.

James E. Stramel was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister-in-law.
