Hastings resident, Debra S. Wiedel, 42, of 2519 West 6th, died Tuesday,
July 1, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Rosary service will be Saturday, July 5, 2003; 9:30 A.M. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Debra S. Wiedel was born January 10, 1961 in Columbus, Nebraska to Robert B. & Sharon S. (George) Wiedel. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska with her family from Broken Bow, Nebraska in 1969. She graduated from Hastings High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Debra S. Wiedel was preceded in death by her father, Robert, grandfather, William George and grandparents, John & Gertrude Wiedel. Survivors include, Mother: Sharon Wiedel - Hastings, NE Brother & Sister-in-law: Mark R. & Karen Wiedel - Omaha, NE Grandmother: Mildred George - Lincoln, NE Aunts, Uncles and numerous cousins.
