Mike T. Elliott, 64, of 2715 Boyce St., died, Wednesday, November 19,
2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital due to cancer. Services will be Friday, November 21, 2003; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Harold D. Stromer officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Mike T. Elliott was born May 30, 1939 in Hastings, Nebraska to Hugh 'Buzz' & June (Gettmann) Elliott. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1957 and attended Milford Trade School, Milford, Nebraska for 2 years. He returned to Hastings and worked in the auto industry, owning Mike's Auto Body & Used Car. He married Joyce Christensen on December 11, 1965 in Hastings, Nebraska. After closing his business, he worked for Garvey's Elevator till retiring in 2001. He was a member of Four Rivers Sportsman Club and a life long Hastings resident. Mike T. Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, Buzz & June Elliott. Survivors include, Wife: Joyce Elliott - Hastings, NE Daughters: Kristin Elliott - Hastings, NE Karla Erickson - Glenwood, IA Granddaughters: Victoria Erickson Kathryn Erickson Sisters: Kathryn Ruisinger - Lincoln, NE Susan Klatt - Hastings, NE Memorial may be given to Mary Lanning Oncology Department or Four Rivers Sportsman Club.
