Norvell F. Blank, 79, of 4150 W. 82nd St., Hastings, Nebraska, died
Monday, September 22, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 25, 2003; 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Norvell F. Blank was born June 28, 1924 in Pierce, Nebraska to Carl D. & Minnie (Dreger) Blank. He served in the United States Navy during WWII from May 2, 1942 to September 20, 1944. On October 10, 1954, he married Helen Trobough and she preceded him in death on April 3, 2002. He worked for the Roseland Public School, Roseland, Nebraska and as a painter in Columbus, Nebraska before moving to Hastings, Nebraska where he worked for Johnson Imperial Homes. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and a 50 year member of the Eagles Club, Hastings, Nebraska. Norvell F. Blank was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen, three brothers, one sister, one grandson LeRoy Drummond and one great granddaughter Kasey Thaut. Survivors include, Daughter & Son-in-law: Patricia & Fred Drummond, Sr. - Hastings, NE 4 Grandchildren: Fred Drummond, Jr. - Tampa, FL Roydean Drummond - Lincoln, NE Jodie Bard - Lincoln, NE Trisha Thaut - Hastings, NE 12 Great Grandchildren: Aaron Drummond Jessica Drummond Matthew Drummond Joshua Drummond Nicholas Drummond Sunny Drummond Summer Drummond Forest Drummond Kelsie Bard Dylan Bard Ashley Bard Lekci Thaut Memorial may be given to the family or St. Michael’s Catholic School
