Trumbull resident, Dale D. Kiiker, 74, of 9465 N. Maxon Ave., died
Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at home with his family. Services will be Saturday, August 21, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Steve Markle officiating. Burial with Military Rites will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Trumbull, Nebraska. Mr. Kiiker was born March 2, 1930 in Fairfax, South Dakota, to Albert & Mabel (Johnson) Kiiker. He moved to Hastings, Nebraska with his family in1943 and attended Hastings Public Schools. He served in the United States Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma from September10,1948 to September 9, 1949 and again from September 20, 1950 to September 22, 1951 in Korea. On October 7, 1952, he married Shirley A. Adams in Raton, New Mexico. They moved to Colorado and then back to Hastings, Nebraska. In 1968, they moved to Trumbull, Nebraska. He worked for Laird Motors, Abbott’s Dairy, Total Power and owned Dale’s Auto. He was a member of New York Avenue Congregational Church and the Eagles. He was a past member of American Legion and V.F.W. Mr. Kiiker was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. Survivors include, Wife: Shirley A.
