Florence J. Richards, 96, or Perkins Pavilion, died Saturday, February
7, 2004 at Perkins Pavilion. Services will be Thursday, February 12, 2004; 11:00 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Mrs. Richards was born November 19, 1907 in Clay Center, Nebraska to Joseph & Lydia (Nagel) VanPatten. She attended Hastings High School and on July 21, 1926, married LeRoy G. Richards. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Golden Age Center. Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her parents, husband, LeRoy and a daughter, JeNeanne Woods. Survivors include, Son-in-law & Spouse: Charles & Jan Woods - Billings, MT Grandsons: Mark Woods - MT Brett Woods - MT Great Grandson: Parker Woods - MT Sisters-in-law: Wilma Richards - Hastings, NE Frances Minich - Hastings, NE Sister-in-law & Spouse: Phyllis & Ray Mohrlang - Hastings, NE Many Nieces, Nephews & Friends. Memorial may be given to Golden Friendship Center
