Hastings resident, Irene L. Boehlke, 80, died Thursday, July 22, 2004 at
Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Services will be Saturday, July 24, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Dan Heuer officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Ms. Boehlke was born August 28, 1923 in Ayr, Nebraska to Oscar L. & Freda L. (Wortman) Boehlke. She graduated from Roseland High School, Roseland, Nebraska in 1942. She was a beauty operator for Total Image and Good Samaritan Village. She was a life long area resident and a very active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Luther Anns where she was a past president and a past Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of AARP and a volunteer for Senior Center, Good Samaritan Village. Ms. Boehlke was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Erma.
