Ronald F. Motley, 59, of 1219 Briggs, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at his
home after a long illness. Services will be Saturday, May 15, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Earl Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, both in Hastings, Nebraska. Mr. Motley was born July 30, 1944 to Donald L. & Sarah H. (Helzer) Motley in Hastings, Nebraska . He graduated from Hastings Senior High School. He married Dixie Freeman in Hastings, Nebraska and they later divorced. Mr. Motley began working for Debus Baking Company (Metz Baking Company) in 1963 where he worked until his retirement in 1994. On August 16, 1974, he married Lyla J. Haba in Hastings, Nebraska and she preceded him in death on March 26, 1996. On May 1, 1998, he married Jana J. (Fry) Wacker in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a past member of the Eagles Club and Masonic Temple. Mr. Motley was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lyla and a brother, Merv Motley. Survivors include, Wife: Jana J. Motley - Hastings, NE Step-Son: Chris Wacker - San Diego, CA Step-Daughter: Cathy Wacker - at home Mother-in-law: Norma Fry - Hastings, NE Cousins and several Nieces and Nephews Memorial may be given to Ronald F.
