Lois B. Dowdy, 74, of 1100 E. South St. #24, died Tuesday, November 30,
2004 at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, Lincoln, Nebraska. Memorial service will be Friday, December 3, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Private family interment at a later date. Mrs. Dowdy was born July 21, 1930 in Greensburg, Kansas to Charles & Virginia (Cook) Brent. She married John Dowdy on November 7, 1948. She was a homemaker and a nurse’s aide. They moved from Oklahoma to Hastings, Nebraska in 1985. Mrs. Dowdy was preceded in death by her parents, two sister and one brother. Survivors include, Husband: John ‘Jay’ Dowdy - Hastings, NE Daughters & Son-in-law: Brenda Rundel - Hastings, NE Jonna & Bill Stasyzen - Shelbyville, KY 4 Grandchildren: Sherida, Shanna, Jandi & Bill III 5 Great Grandchildren: Breanna, Taeler, Zakary, Kassidy & Ashley Brother & Sister-in-law: Elmer & Lena Brent - Sister & Brother-in-law: Martha & Estel Stewart - Many Nieces & Nephews Memorial may be given to The Family No visitation or viewing |
