Rural Hastings resident, Wanda L. Frank, 66, passed away in her sleep,
Tuesday, April 19, 2005 while visiting her son in Fremont, Nebraska. Services will be Friday, April 22, 2005; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. John H.G. Curtiss officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Mrs. Frank was born October 2, 1938 in Blaine County, Nebraska to Harold C. & Ruth N. (Skelton) Ramsey. She graduated from Broken Bow High School, Broken Bow, Nebraska and from Joseph’s College of Beauty in Hastings, Nebraska. On March 9, 1957, she married John F. ‘Jack’ Frank in Broken Bow and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2002. They lived in Hastings, Nebraska and she worked for Mode O’ Day, ran Pines Pretty Palace Beauty Shop and also was a rental property manager for Frank Rentals. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hastings Christian Women’s Club, Y.W.C.A., Eagles Auxiliary and Hastings Women’s Bowling Association. Mrs. Frank was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John ‘Jack’. Survivors include, Sons & Daughters-in-law: Tim & Michelle Frank - Gretna, NE Tom & Tonja Frank - Fremont, NE 9 Grandchildren: Tosha Iverson Tyler Frank Lyndsey Frank Genna Frank Hallie Frank Brie Frank Jaci Frank Jayton Frank Cameron Frank Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Lloyd & Charlotte Ramsey - Broken Bow, NE Don & Jean Ramsey - Broken Bow, NE Sister-in-law: Sondra Frank - Omaha, NE Numerous Nieces & Nephews Memorial may be given to Hastings Christian Women’s Club VISITATION: Thur: 4-21-05; 1pm-9pm with family present 6pm-8pm Fri: 4-22-05; 9am until service time, all at funeral home |
