Hastings resident, Arnold R. Heye, 92, died Friday, April 22, 2005 at
Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Burial Office will be Monday, April 25, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Pro-Cathedral with The Very Rev. Richard J. Martindale officiating. Private family committal in Parkview Cemetery. Mr. Heye was born July 22, 1912 in Glenvil, Nebraska to August & Tena (Kahman) Heye. He was in partnership with his father in a hardware store in Glenvil, Nebraska until 1944. He worked for Dutton Lainson from 1944 to 1949 and for Hastings Utilities as a purchasing agent from 1949 until his retirement in 1977. In October 1979, he married Marilyn (Casler) Harse. He was a member of Saint Mark’s Episcopal Pro-Cathedral and U.C.T. Mr. Heye was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, Gladyce Lenhart Heye and one sister, Anna Nowka. Survivors include, Wife: Marilyn Heye - Hastings, NE Step Son: R. Brad Harse - Lincoln, NE Step Grandchildren & Spouse: 2 David & Angela Harse Grant Harse Nephew: Eldon Nowka - Grand Island, NE Memorial may be given to Saint Mark’s Episcopal Pro-Cathedral Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
