Juniata resident, Dennis Lee Sealey, 59, of 210 E. 9th, died Friday,
April 8, 2005 at his home after a battle with lung cancer. Services will be Monday, April 11, 2005; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Stuart Wiley officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Mr. Sealey was born July 12, 1945 in Holdrege, Nebraska to Nyle & Normajean (Dedrick) Sealey. He grew up in Hastings where he married Nancy Crewdsen in 1962. They had 2 sons, Jerry & Kim and they were divorced in 1970. The family moved to Lincoln and Dennis graduated from high school in Lincoln, Nebraska. He went to work for Lincoln Telephone & Telegraph and worked for them for 31 years before his retirement in 1997. He married Susan Singleton before returning to the Hastings area. After retiring from LT&T, he worked for Mainstay Communications out of Oklahoma. Mr. Sealey was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sharon. Survivors include, Wife: Sue Sealey - Juniata, NE Sons: Jerry Sealey - Phoenix, AZ Kim Sealey - Emmetsburg, IA Daughter& Son-in-law: Denise & Thad Kelly - Blue Hill, NE 6 Grandchildren Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Ron & Virginia Sealey - Hastings, NE Greg & Linda Sealey - Friend, NE Kevin & Kim Sealey - Phoenix, AZ Sisters & Brother-in-law: Roberta Kent - Gilead, NE Judy & Stuart Wiley - York, NE Cindy & Rick Kucera - Kearney, NE Many Nieces & Nephews. Memorial may be given to Mary Lanning Hospice VISITATION: Sat. 4-9-05; 3pm-9pm Sun 4-10-05; 1pm-9pm Mon. 4-11-05; 9am until service time |
