Former Hastings resident, Doris K. Hoffman, 83, of Wood River, Nebraska,
died Sunday, February 20, 2005 at St. Francis Medical Center, Grand
Island, Nebraska. Services will be Wednesday, February 23, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Mrs. Hoffman was born December 16, 1921 in Bladen, Nebraska to Pete & Mathilda (Betz) Jugert. She graduated from Red Cloud High School, Red Cloud, Nebraska. In 1942, she married Leonard Hoffman in Lebanon, Kansas and he preceded her in death in 1993. She moved from Red Cloud, Nebraska to Hastings in 1956. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran. Mrs. Hoffman was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard and a brother, Dallas Jugert. Survivors include, Son & Daughter-in-law: Lindell & Kay Hoffman - Grand Island, NE Daughter & Son-in-law: Debra & Kenneth Fairbanks - Wood River, NE 8 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren Sister: Jean Weiss - Hastings, NE Brother: Kenneth Jugert - Waco, TX Numerous Nieces & Nephews Memorial may be given to the family, memorial will be established VISITATION: Tue. 2-22-05; 1pm-9pm with family present 6pm-8pm Wed. 9am until service time |
