Hastings resident, Elaine Herdt, 75, died Saturday, July 2, 2005 at
Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Village, Hastings NE. Services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at Livingston-Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Donald Boeschen officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Ms.Herdt was born January 31, 1930 to Lawrence & Evelyn (Noggle) Iseburg in Grand Island, Nebraska. She married Wilbert “Bill” Herdt March 3, 1952 in North Platte, Nebraska and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was a homemaker and worked for the Giltner Public Schools. Ms.Herdt was preceded by her husband, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors include, Daughters: Mrs. Virgil “ Debbie” Kruse - Grand Island, NE Mrs. Randy “Cindi” Clarke - Driggs, ID Mrs. Gene “Brenda” Gartner - Hastings, NE Son: Steve Herdt - Fresno, CA.
