Richard P. Peterson, “Pete”,53, of Hastings, Nebraska died Wednesday,
July 27, 2005 at his home. Memorial services will be Monday, August 1, 2005; 3:00 P.M. at First Presbyterian Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Dr. Rev. William Nottage-Tacey officiating. Private family interment will be in Grand Island City Cemetery, Grand Island, Nebraska. Pete was born September 14, 1951 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Irwin B. & Julia C. (Porter) Peterson. He lived in Grand Island and at the Beatrice State Home before moving to Hastings in 1976. While in Hastings he was assisted by Mid-Nebraska Individual Services. He was a retired community volunteer and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Pete was preceded in death by his parents.
