Hastings resident, Jessie Viola Thorson, 83, of 404 Circle D, died
Monday, July 4, 2005 at her home. Memorial service will be Monday, July 11, 2005; 3:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Tim Semotan officiating. Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens, Livingston, Montana at a later date. Mrs. Thorson was born April 18, 1922 in Gouldbusk, Texas to Willie & Georgia (Sparks) Turner. She graduated from Melvin High School, Melvin, Texas. On June 20, 1944, she married Almer Thorson in Brady, Texas. She was a homemaker and, as a cosmetologist she owned and operated Viola’s Beauty Salon for several years. They moved from Livingston, Montana to Hastings, Nebraska in 2003. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Livingston, Montana. Mrs. Thorson was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Edward Turner. Survivors include, Husband: Almer Thorson - Hastings, NE Daughters & Son-in-law: Blanche Thorson - Hastings, NE Dorothy Thorson Bull & Bruce Bull - Kansas City, MO 4 Grandchildren: Wade Ayers Blaine Ayers Dwayne Bull Sandra Bull Blackburn 11 Great Grandchildren Brother: Willie James Turner - Melvin, TX No Viewing or Visitation |
