Hastings resident Pauline Ruth (Guenther) Vonnes, 68, died Sunday, July
3, 2005 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Memorial service will be Thursday, July 7, 2005; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Burial will be private. Mrs. Vonnes was born March 30, 1937 in Hamburg, Iowa to Henry & Therese (Zabel) Guenther. She married John B. Vonnes , Jr. on June 12, 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1983. She was employed by the City of Hastings and was owner/operator of Antiques And ... in downtown Hastings. She was a member of Friends of the Hastings Public Library. Survivors include, Daughters & Son-in-law: Lynn Vonnes - Phoenix, AZ Susan & Jon Ourada - Glendale, AZ Son & Daughter-in-law: John III & Marcy Vonnes - Hanover, PA Sister: Rosalie Brookshier - St. Charles, MO 5 Grandchildren: Alexander Fisher, Kaitlyn Ourada Jackson Ourada, John Vonnes IV & Lauren Vonnes Memorial may be given to Hastings Library Foundation or Family’s Choice |
