Hastings resident, Patricia A. ‘Pat’ Pederson, 62, of 2716 W. 3rd, died Monday, March 14, 2005 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Services will be Saturday, March 19, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Stacey Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, both in Hastings, Nebraska. Mrs. Pederson was born January 2, 1943 in Wayne, Nebraska to Courtney W. & Ruth Evelyn (Saunders ) Larson. She grew up in Wayne and moved with her family to Bladen, Nebraska in 1953 and to Hastings, Nebraska in 1954. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1961 and married Delmar ‘Jim’ Pederson on January 6,1962 in Hastings, Nebraska. She was the former manager of Jeri ‘s Uniform Shoppe and later sales for Cash-Wa Candy Company. She was a member of First Church of God. Her hobbies were family, sewing, oil painting, crocheting, fishing and was an all sports enthusiast (St. Louis Cardinals and Rams). She was a homemaker and a loving and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Pederson was preceded in death by her father, a daughter Rebecca Sue Pederson and a brother, Bob Larson. Survivors include, Husband: Jim Pederson - Hastings, NE Daughters & Son-in-law: Brenda Lynn & John Creigh - Grand Island, NE Janine RANae Tally - Dallas, TX Jennifer Lee Jones, Denton, NE Son & Daughter-in-law: Bradley James & Rhonda Pederson - Lincoln, NE Grandchildren: 8 Brandon Creigh Kira Creigh Cameron Creigh Avangeline Tally Emily Pederson Ashton Pederson Chase Jones Anisha Jones Mother: Ruth Evelyn Larson - Grand Island, NE Sister & Friend: Cyndie Larson & Marietta Hofferber - Grand Island, NE Brother & Sister-in-law: Terry & Kay Larson - Hastings, NE Memorial may be given to: Mary Lanning Cancer Center or Mary Lanning Hospice VISITATION: Wed. 3-16-05; Noon-9pm Thur. 3-17-05; 9am-9pm Fri. 3-18-05; 9am-9pm Sat. 3-19-05; 9am until service time |
