Eleanor Rust of 823 Valley Chase, Hastings, Nebraska died Saturday,
March 19, 2005 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska. Services will be Wednesday, March 23, 2005; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Mrs. Rust was born September 2, 1933 in Kenesaw, Nebraska to William & Clara (Suchland) Polenske. She graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1951. On September 20, 1953 she married Harold D. Rust in Kenesaw, Nebraska and moved to Hastings. Her working career included telephone operator, the NAD, Phillips Ladies Ready To Wear and housewares and advertising manager for Big G from 1966-1999. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the DAV auxiliary. Eleanor Rust was preceded in death by her parents, sister Gertrude Brening and niece Cheryl Adams.
