Hastings resident, Ruby Adler, 57, of 208 East Park, died Thursday,
November 24, 2005 at Bryan LGH Medical Center West, Lincoln, Nebraska. Services will be Wednesday, November 30, 2005; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Lowell Myers officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska. Mrs. Adler was born February 25, 1948 in Hastings, Nebraska to William D. & Illah L. (Rice) Miller. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1966 and from Omaha School of Business in 1968. She was a Medical Secretary at the Hastings Regional Center and a member of Zion Lutheran Church. On July 7, 1983, she married Larry Adler. She was a life long Hastings resident. Mrs. Adler was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include, Husband: Larry Adler - Hastings, NE Daughters & Sons-in-law: Rebecca & Don Shearer - Seward, NE Julie & Jimmy Pettiford - Lincoln, NE Sons & Daughter-in-law: David & Kristie Arndt - Wichita, KS Mother: Illah Miller - Hastings, NE 4 Grandchildren: Holly Shearer Nickolas Shearer Khyree Pettiford Matthew Arndt Sister & Brother-in-law: Judy & Lawrence Sloan - Juniata, NE Brother & Sister-in-law: Bill & Irene Miller - Colorado Springs, CO Memorial may be given to Ruby Adler Memorial Fund VISITATION: Sun. 11-27-05; 5pm-9pm Mon. 11-28-05; 9am-9pm Tue. 11-29-05; 9am-9pm Wed. 11-30-05; 9am until service time |
