Darrell R. Hohlfeld, 67, of Holstein, Nebraska, died Friday, November
11, 2005 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska. Services will be Wednesday, November 16, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church (Wanda) rural Juniata, Nebraska with Pastor Harold King officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Mr. Hohlfeld was born May 23, 1938 in Adams County, Nebraska to Lester G. & Lillian F. (Johnson) Hohlfeld. He graduated from Holstein High School in 1955. He married Irene M. Krueger on June 4, 1961 at Blue Hill, Nebraska and she preceded him in death on September 13, 2005. He was a life long Holstein area resident and at the time of his death he was farming and worked for Executive Protective Services. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church (Wanda). Mr. Hohlfeld was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Irene M. Hohlfeld. Survivors include, Son & Daughter-in-law: Larry & Joanne Hohlfeld - Holstein, NE Daughters & Sons-in-law: Debbie & Brent Bunde - Roseland, NE Delores & Mark Strasburg - Ayr, NE 8 Grandchildren Cassie Hohlfeld Courtney Hohlfeld Cody Hohlfeld Kailey Strasburg Devin Strasburg Sydney Strasburg Dylan Bunde Taylor Bunde Mother-in-law: Tena Krueger - Blue Hill, NE Memorial may be given to Holstein Volunteer Rescue Unit VISITATION: Sun. 11-13-05; 5pm-9pm Mon. 11-14-05; 9am-9pm Tue. 11-15-05; 9am-9pm with family present 5pm-7pm Wed. 11-16-05; 1 hr. prior at the church |
