Gerald 'Gary' Vincent Quinn

Hastings resident, Gerald ‘Gary’ Vincent Quinn, 52, of 2600 West Lochland Road, died Saturday, November 26, 2005 at his home.

TIME CHANGE: Rosary, Tuesday, November 29, 2005; 8:00 P.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 30, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, all in Hastings, Nebraska

Mr. Quinn was born October 16, 1953 in Hastings, Nebraska to Donald & Rose (Hoelting) Quinn. He graduated from St. Cecilia’s Catholic High School in 1972. He served in the United States Army for 2 years during the Vietnam war era. He received his Associates Degree from Southeast Community College and attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. On June 23, 1979, he married Maggie Fiedler at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lincoln, Nebraska. He and his son Alex, operated Sunset Lawns & Landscaping. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, St. Michael’s Guitar Group, was an Acolyte and active in Cursillo. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree.

Mr. Quinn was preceded in death by his parents.
