Hastings resident, Georgene Grace True, 78, of 2501 West 9th St., died
Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Nebraska Heart Institute, Heart Hospital
Lincoln, Nebraska. Rosary will be Thursday, November 3, 2005; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 4, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church with Father James Meysenburg & Father Patrick Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Mrs. True was born March 29, 1927 in Loup City, Nebraska to John F. & Veronica C. (Stanczyk) Janulewicz. She attended Saint Josephat’s Parochial School and Loup City High School. On December 21, 1946, she married Gerald L. True and were married for 58 years. She was a retired Geriatric C.S.M from Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Alter Society, Red Hat Society and Queen of the Red Hat Attitudes, Chapter #46928. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, music, traveling and her family. Mrs. True was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mildred Peterson, brother, John ‘Jack’ Janulewicz of Loup City, Nebraska and one infant great grandson. Survivors include, Husband: Gerald True - Hastings, NE Son: Robert True - Hastings, NE Daughters: Marilyn Shafer - Hastings, NE Pam Karmazin - Lawrence, NE Diane Codner - Wood River, NE Connie Hock - Aurora, NE 19 Grandchildren 29 Great Grandchildren Sister: Norma Janulewicz - Loup City, NE Memorial may be given to Family’s Choice VISITATION: Thur. 11-03-05; 1pm-9pm Fri. 11-04-05; 1 hr. prior to church at the church |
