Hastings resident, Alan E. Krueger, 68, of 1303 Arapahoe, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Thursday, December 14, 2006; 10:00 A.M. at First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, December, 12, 2006; 6pm-9pm, Wednesday, December 13, 2006; 9am-9pm at Butler-Volland Funeral Home & Thursday, December 14, 2006, 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials to First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Building Fund or Central Community College Foundation (for scholarships).

Mr. Krueger was born January 21, 1938 to Paul & Elizabeth (Van Boening) Krueger in Adams County near Blue Hill, Nebraska. He graduated from Blue Hill High School in 1955 and Central Community College in 1969. On June 9, 1957, he married Nancy C. Hesman in Blue Hill. He was an instructor at Central Community College, in the heating, air conditioning and refrigeration department. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Mr. Krueger was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Julie Dack; two sister, Eleanor Brehm and Sylvia Bell; and two brothers, Dalvin Krueger and Kenneth Krueger.
