Hastings resident, Edna C. Sorenson, 83, of 2723 West 9th Street, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at her home.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, November 28, 2006; 2:00 P.M. at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Interment at Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, Nebraska. Memorials to Faith Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Sorenson was born November 22, 1923 in Kenesaw, Nebraska to William & Clara (Suchland) Polenske. She graduated from Kenesaw High School, Kenesaw, Nebraska and married Warren Sorenson on March 25, 1945. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2006. She was a medical technician at the Hastings Regional Center. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, DAV Auxiliary where she was a past Commander, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and B.P.O. Does. She was a life long area resident.

Mrs. Sorenson was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Gertrude Brening & Eleanor Rust.
