Services will be Friday, December 1, 2006; 10:30 A.M. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd with Pastor John Lee Ross officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2006; 1pm-9pm, Thursday, November 30, 2006; 9am-9pm at Butler-Volland Funeral Home and Friday, December 1, 2006, 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Mrs. Theesen was born January 27, 1912 in Cadams, Nebraska to Jay C. & Mary (Regenberg) Powers. She graduated from Hastings High School and married Henry John Theesen on the family farm near Hastings, in 1936. He preceded her in death in 1995. She worked at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in the business office for many years prior to retirement. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and WELCA Sarah Circle.

Mrs. Theesen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Henry.
