Hastings resident, Jerry L. Watson Sr., 67, of 605 East 4th Street, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Memorial service will be Friday, December 7, 2007; 3:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. No viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family.

Mr. Watson was born March 13, 1940 in Juniata, Nebraska to Harold David & Irene (Weseman) Watson. He graduated from Juniata High School and served in the United States Army from 1961 until 1965. On April 22, 1967, he married Maxine Anderson. He was a life long area resident and worked as a machinist for Western Land Roller.

Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Clarence and a sister Dona Henderson.
