Hastings resident, Stanley A. Swanson, 40, of 1010 Briggs, died Friday, January 12, 2007 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, January 18, 2007; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Davis officiating. Those attending the funeral, come dressed as Stan knew you. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery, Sutton, Nebraska. Visitation will be 1 hr. prior to the service. Memorials to American Cancer Society or United Cerebral Palsy for research.

Mr. Swanson was born April 5, 1966 in Hastings, Nebraska to Donald L. & Wilma E. (Klein) Swanson. He had worked for Great Plains Packaging Company. He was a life long Hastings resident.

Mr. Swanson was preceded in death by his parents, Donald L. & Wilma E. Swanson, sisters, Cheryl Naughtin & Deborah Lynn Swanson, aunts, Cornelia Schwartz & Mildred Sindt and an uncle, Milton Klein
