Hastings resident, Mary B. Scheideman, 91, of 127 East South Street, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Wednesday, October 17, 2007; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Earl Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2007; 5 P.M. – 9 P.M., Tuesday, October 16, 2007; 9 A.M. – 9 P.M. & Wednesday, October 17, 2007; 9 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Macular Degeneration Fund or American Heart Association.

Mrs. Scheideman was born June 6, 1916 in Norton, Kansas to Hubert W. & Eva I. (Brownlee) Armstrong. She moved with her family at an early age to Juniata, Nebraska where she attended school. On August 27, 1952, she married Adam Scheideman. She was a homemaker, worked at the Naval Ammunition Depot and at Metz Bakery for 23 years. She and Adam enjoyed travel & visits with family. She attended First United Methodist Church and was a Golden Eagles Auxiliary member.

Mrs. Scheideman was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adam, three brothers, four sisters and a great grandchild, Angel Jaramillo.
