Hastings resident, Benny L. Stutzman, 50, of 411 South Elm Avenue, died Friday, October 19, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Private family memorial service was held Monday, October 22, 2007 at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Carl H. Rehwaldt officiating. Private family interment at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family c/o Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home, 1225 N. Elm Avenue, Hastings, Nebraska 68901.

Mr. Stutzman was born October 28, 1956 in Portland, Oregon to George H. & Roberta ‘Ilene’ (Hickman) Stutzman. He married Linda Risden in Grand Island, Nebraska and they later divorced. He moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1998 from Plattsmouth, Nebraska. He was a construction worker and attended Peace Lutheran Church.

Mr. Stutzman was preceded in death by his mother; step father, Andrew ‘Bud’ Knight; two brothers, Micheal & James Stutzman.
