Life long area resident, Georgia A. Schiefelbein, 64, of 1535 South Showboat Boulevard, died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Rosary will be Tuesday, September 18, 2007; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 19, 2007’ 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be 2:00 P.M. at Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday, September 17, 2007; 7 P.M.-9 P.M., Tuesday, September 18, 2007; 9 A.M.- 9 P.M. at the funeral home & Wednesday, September 19, 2007; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Breast Cancer Awareness or to the family to be directed to masses.

Mrs. Schiefelbein was born September 27, 1942 in Hastings, Nebraska to George A. & Emma (Jarosik) Mazour. She graduated from Blue Hill High School and from Hastings College of Beauty in 1961. She married Allan Miller in 1962 and they later divorced. In 1977, she married Arnold Schiefelbein and they later divorced. She was owner & operator of Georgia’s Beauty Shop. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Mrs. Schiefelbein was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister and three infant children.
