Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church or Alzheimer’s Association. Mrs. Tindall was born March 27, 1921 in Solon Springs, Wisconsin to Charles & Hilda (Dahl) Lien. She graduated from Fairbury High School, Fairbury, Nebraska, and attended Lincoln School of Commerce. On May 2, 1943, she married Vern D. Tindall, Jr. at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. They lived in Aurora, Nebraska, and Lincoln, Nebraska before moving to Hastings in 1959. She was a homemaker and a clerk at the Ordinance Plant in Grand Island, during the war. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Friendly Dozen Extension Club and a past member of Burlington Veterans. She moved to the Grand Island Veterans Home in 2007 due to health reasons. Mrs. Tindall was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Jerry Carpenter, one brother and one sister. Survivors include: |
