Hansen resident, Thomas G. Brewer, 75, of 865 E. Oliver, died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Saturday, December 13, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Dr. Judith Allen officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Saturday, December 13, 2008; 9:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be given to Heartland Pet Connection.

Mr. Brewer was born February 26, 1933 in Hastings, Nebraska to Blaine & Olive (Lowell) Brewer. He graduated from Hastings Senior High in 1951. He was employed for 45 years with Union Pacific Railroad and was an agent in several towns. He was a member of Great Plains Chapter of National Railway Historical Society. He was a past Director of Prorail Nebraska and National Society of Railroad Passenger Trains. He was an agent in Grand Island for the last Union Pacific Railroad passenger trains to go through Grand Island.

Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his parents.
