Services will be Saturday, January 3, 2009; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Paul Julian officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, January 1, 2009; 1P.M.-9P.M., Friday, January 2, 2009; 9A.M.-9P.M. with family present from 6PM-8PM and Saturday, January 3, 2009; 9A.M. until service time. Memorials may be given to the family. Dave Kohl was born September 13, 1951 in Fort Riley, Kansas to L. Wayne & Helen Marie (Shepard) Kohl. He graduated from Miltonvale High School, Miltonvale, Kansas and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from November 23, 1971 until November 29, 1973. On November 14, 1975, he married Linda Tenopir in Hastings. He was the manager of the body shop at Mike & Paul Spady before his illness. He attended South St. Church of Christ, he was a member of Prairie Creek Coon Hunters, Bluetick Breeders of America, Bluetick Breeders & Coonhunter’s Association, D.A.V., V.F.W., American Legion and N.R.A. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his children and grandchildren. Dave was preceded in death by his father and grandson, Parker Kohl. Survivors include: |
