Jeannette (Murra) Yost, 91, of Lincoln, formerly of Hastings, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008 at home with family close beside her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 12, 2008 at Livingston- Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Alan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. on Thursday and 9:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Hastings Food Pantry and the Crossroads Center.

Mrs. Yost was born September 25, 1917 in Woquard, Germany to John and Anna Murra. She immigrated to the United States with her parents and settled in the Hastings area. She worked for 32 years at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1987.
