Hastings resident, Leon J. Weber, 60, of 502 South Bellevue, died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Wednesday, September 17, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert S. Smith officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given to the family. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16, 2008; 1:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home and Wednesday, September 17, 2008; 1 hr. prior to service at the church.

Mr. Weber was born September 17, 1947 in Hastings, Nebraska to Floyd & Hannah (Janssen) Weber. He attended Hastings High School and married Sheryl J. Bunde on May 20, 1967. He serviced in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. He worked at Thermo King and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Mr. Weber was preceded in death by his parents.
